Everything’s big in Texas so that must account for the larger-than-life loveliness on the titillating Texan Phyllis Davis. After attending acting classes at the Pasadena Playhouse, the hot ingénue began her ascent to skin stardom with her standout parts pushed forward in such parts as Bit Girl, Model #10, and 2nd Secretary in a string of Elvis Presley movies. Breast of all, Russ Meyer’s Beyond the Valley of the Dolls (1970) let us see beyond the stacked starlet’s see-through blouse to her beautiful bouncing boobs! Indeed, Davis had a moving way of moving herself, and she moved right into repertory roles on the television show Love, American Style, a gig that stretched from 1970 to 1974. During those years, the busy babe strayed into risqué territory—repeatedly revealing her rack in the women in prison flicks Sweet Sugar (1972) and Terminal Island (1973). Phyllis then flaunted her fab figure and arresting appearance in the cop dramedy The Choirboys (1977) by adorning her perfect pair with pasties. Looks like she’s busted! The skintastic actress also popped up in the documentaries The Best of Sex and Violence (1981) and Famous T&A (1982), wherein she bared her breasts and bush which depicted both blonde and brown drapes with a brunette carpet. After scoring guest spots on several series, Ms. Davis retired in the mid-1990s. She passed away in 2013, yet we’ll always have her work in films (The Oscar, The Day of the Dolphin) and on TV (Vega$, Knight Rider) to recall her gorgeous imagery.
